Twenty First Century Cinema is back with a brand new format. Joe, Jamie, and Noah debut three new recurring segments: What Have We Been Watching, Shut Up Joe, and In the News.

In What Have We Been Watching, Noah finally sees Coyote vs. Acme and revisits 10 Things I Hate About You, Jamie makes the case for I Saw the TV Glow as an all-time favourite and gushes over Synecdoche, New York and Save the Green Planet, and Joseph reviews Bottoms and takes a nostalgia trip through the 1986 Transformers movie, Clue, and The Peanuts Movie. Along the way, the crew invents a whole taxonomy of plane movies, dad movies, and boat movies.

In the first ever Shut-Up Joe, a random Letterboxd review sends everyone into Oppenheimer, which opens up a bigger debate about Christopher Nolan's writing, his runtimes, and how he writes women, with The Prestige and The Odyssey also being discussed.

In the News covers The Batman Part II filming in London ahead of its February 2028 release, Alan Ritchson stepping in for Jason Momoa on Helldivers, Robert De Niro as Tommy Lasorda, Spider-Man: Brand New Day becoming the highest-grossing domestic release ever, the TIFF market sale of River, the Oscar buzz around I Play Rocky, and Tom Cruise's $130 million gamble, Digger.
